About Us

Dr. Amy Harper

Dr. Harper is a native of the west Georgia area. She attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a B.S. in Biology in 1997 and went on to the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her D.V.M. in 2001. Dr. Harper completed her internship in Small Animal Surgery and Medicine at Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado in Loveland, CO. She has particular love for and expertise in treating geriatric animals. Dr. Harper makes her home in Carrollton with her dogs, all of whom were rescues.

About Us

Dr. Valerie McCullough

Having grown up in Villa Rica, Dr. McCullough is happy living the small town life. She and her husband, Aaron, graduated from Villa Rica High School, and their families have lived here for generations. She believes that family is a treasure, and her pets are a part of her family. She has two young daughters, Ava and Marla, who may love animals more than their mommy.

Their other family members include:

  • Harley-an endearing Lab mix
  • Belle-a high energy Terrier mix
  • Shelby-the “Queen” of the house
  • Ray Ray-the talented hunter
  • Chance-the sweet rescue horse
  • Marion and Tuck-mother and son Pigmy goats
  • A few chickens

Dr. McCullough received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of West Georgia, and she received her Doctorate from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been serving families as an associate veterinarian in the West Georgia area since graduation.
